If your into hockey and you like to watch it you'd better start watching now! Because it's the NHL playoffs. Road to the Stanley Cup. My favorite team the Penguins swept the Ottawa Senators 4-0 games. They havn't swept a team since 1992 in the Stanley Cup against the Chicago Flames.

Rules of the Playoffs
Rules of the playoffs can be differnt than the regular season. There are 7 games and the team that wins 4 games first moves on. After regulation time it goes into overtime and usually if no one scores it is a shootout but in the playoffs it keeps going into overtimes possibly it can go into 10 overtimes. But that probuarly never will happen. The way they decide to know who's playing who is the rankings.
Rankings
The rankings are how good a team played in the season. The teams 1 and 8 would play each other and 2 and 7 would play each other and so on. After each round they re-rank the teams. So if 1, 2, 5, and 6 win the first seris 1 plays 6 and 2 plays 5. The top 3 ranked teams are the ones who won their division in their confrence. Whoever of the teams has the most points is number 1. Then 2, then 3. The rest of the teams are by points so number 4 could have more points than number 3 if number 4 was in number 2's division and have more points than number 3. ( That probrualy doesn't make sense.)
