Types of Elephants
There are two main types of elephants, African and Asian. Both are fantastic animals on earth. At one point in time Asian elephants were mostly found in India and called Indian elephants but over time people changed the name to Asian because they were starting to move out of India and into other parts of Asia. But there are many differences between the elephants. For example, they are different sizes, African elephants are much bigger than Asian elephants. Also African elephants have bigger and different sized ears than the Asian or Indian elephants. African elephant's have ears roughly shaped like the country Africa and Asian elephants have ears roughly shaped like India. Another difference is African elephants, male and female, both have tusks and only the male Asian elephants have tusks.
